The computer terminals used by the Macro Data Refinement team do not have an escape key
Mark leads a team of office workers whose memories are strictly divided between work and home life. When a mysterious colleague shows up during off-duty hours, the journey begins to uncover the truth about her work. This is normal for Data General Dasher D2 series terminals, and it seems to be the case.
Ben Stiller directed it personally
Starring in Late Night with Seth Meyers: Ben Stiller / Rose Matafeo / Brooke Colucci (2022). Edit* Episode 9, S1 is one of the best episodes of a TV show I have ever seen. It still tells a story, but shines much brighter.
Only two episodes have been released
And it deserves awards and recognition for that. So I will be very brief for now and update the full review at the end of the series. I will give everything away because I went into the plot unprepared before watching.
I can’t wait to see how the world is built
Judging by the cast/director alone, Stiller is still one of the few unique Hollyweird filmmakers who can pull off a great cast and a decent budget. This show is unlike anything that has come before and has the potential to be considered one of the best unconventional, irreverent black comedy shows of all time. Just give this show a chance, so far it’s neither political nor influenced by the real world.
It’s a universe unto itself
And I still love them.
